Performance "Cremulator" in Berlin from 5 to 6 june 2024

"Cremulator” is the first production of the novel of the same name by Sasha Filipenko, written on the basis of documents from the interrogation of the director of the first crematorium in the USSR.

This is the story of the White Guard pilot officer Pyotr Nesterenko, who, after the long ordeals of emigration at the beginning of the 20th century, enters into a deal with the Soviets and returns to his homeland.

This is a story about juggling and choosing your own truth, about its burning and erasing from several generations, about emigration and the war of the last century; about Faith and great love, which means nothing if its devoted viewer is a tyrant.
