AIGEL in Berlin 7 may 2024

The electronic duo AIGEL, combining atmospheric electronics from Ilya Baramiya, and bright lyrics and hypnotic vocals of Aigel Gaisina, has long been associated primarily with the track "Tatarin", which received viral success in 2017 and immediately gave the band a wide audience. One by one, the band put out strong works "1190", "Music" and "Eden", where they expanded the range of topics touched upon in the lyrics and successfully continued their creative endeavours.

At the end of Pandemic 2020, the band released the album "Pyyala" with songs in Aigel's native Tatar language. It was favourably received by the audience and critics, the band performed with the title song on the country's main late night show "Vecherniy Urgant", but the release did not come close to repeating the success of "Tatarin". After the events of 2022, their public condemnation by the band members and the actual ban on touring in Russia, the duo moved to Europe.

The band often recorded OSTs for various TV series and podcasts, but the success of the song "Pyyala", which runs through the entire first season of the super-successful TV series "Patsan's Word", came as a complete surprise to both the band and the listeners. Now it is obvious that it was "Pyjala", the most beautiful rhythmic track with imaginative lyrics, that became the main hit of the band 3 years after its release. And, despite the bans, brought them into the top league of the most popular streaming artists in the post-Soviet countries. Right before this rise, the band gives an interview to Yuri Dudy, which also reinforces the new wave of interest in their work, reaching audiences all over Europe.

Already in their new status, the band announces a big tour, where they will play their best songs and maybe even present the long-awaited new material. Despite the fact that there are only two musicians on stage, as well as in the studio, AIGEL give a head start to many "live" bands in terms of energy and emotionality of their concert performances.
