Event description

The special guest of the production is the inimitable Alexey Klimushkin in the colorful role of a tax inspector! Together with the brilliant Estonian comedy duo of Boris Bogdanov and Sergey Rymar, they present a new version of the global masterpiece "Dinner with a Fool". When a brilliant mind clashes with genius stupidity, the real show begins — a situation comedy where sparkling French humor intertwines delicately with irony, and deep themes hide behind apparent lightness.

  • Plot: When Everything Goes Wrong

Every Wednesday, a group of wealthy snobs hosts an unusual dinner. The rule is simple: everyone must bring a "fool". The one whose guest turns out to be the most ridiculous wins a prize. Publisher Pierre Brochant is confident in his victory, having found a mind-blowing candidate — François Pignon. Pierre anticipates a great evening of mockery, but he has no idea that in just a few hours, this guest will completely destroy his life.

Due to a series of absurd accidents, the evening turns into a complete disaster. And when, at the very end of the first act, the meticulous tax inspector Lucien Cheval (played by Alexey Klimushkin) unexpectedly appears on the doorstep, the smug intellectual turns from hunter to victim once and for all. The inspector's entrance turns everything upside down and pushes the intrigue to the limit!

“We laughed so hard that our cheekbones hurt by the end of the show! A fantastic comedy to disconnect from worries and just have a great evening.”
“The rare case when a comedy doesn't slide into vulgarity. Brilliant acting by the whole troupe, we believed every word and every gesture.”
