Vivalis Project: Music by Rachmaninoff in Germany from 3 October 2026 to 3 December 2026

Two concert grand pianos, two vibrant artistic personalities, and one composer whose music balances between confession, tempest, and a majestic vocal line. Kirill Keduk and Artem Yasinsky dedicate this evening to Sergei Rachmaninoff, the master of expansive melodies and dramatic piano architecture. The concerts in Germany will take place from October 3 to December 3, 2026.

Kirill Keduk

Kirill Keduk is a Belarusian and Polish pianist known for his performances of classical works. He comes from a family of musicians and graduated from two music schools as well as the F. Chopin University in Warsaw. In addition, Kirill studied at the S. Moniuszko Music Academy in Gdańsk, the “Incontri con Maestro” piano school in Italy, and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

At the age of ten, he already performed as a soloist with the National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Minsk. At the “Kissinger Klavier Olymp” competition, he won both first prize and the audience choice award, and has performed at Steinway Hall in New York, the Pierre Boulez Hall in Berlin, and in Tokyo. The pianist’s international experience allows him to reveal the scope and emotional expressiveness of Rachmaninoff’s Romantic music.

Artem Yasinsky

Artem Yasinsky, a laureate of the Sydney International Piano Competition and a gold medalist at the Cincinnati World Piano Competition, combines an international concert career with a distinctive artistic style. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, and also teaches at the Bremen University of the Arts.

Artem is originally from Donetsk, Ukraine. He began studying at a specialized music school for gifted children at the age of 7 and gave his first concert at the age of 8. After graduating from high school, he continued his studies at the S. Prokofiev Donetsk Music Academy.

In 2010, the young pianist moved to Germany, where he earned a master’s degree from the Bremen University of the Arts. His playing style combines the academic tradition with expressiveness and virtuosity.

Evening Program

In the first part of the concert, both pianists explore Rachmaninoff’s solo world through preludes, picture etudes, character pieces, and moments of musical introspection.

In the second part, the piano duo will join forces in Suite No. 2 for Two Pianos, Op. 17—a work brimming with rhythmic power, shimmering waltz rhythms, and passionate intensity.
