As part of the annual international Step2gether festival, which Step by Step e.V. is hosting in Frankfurt from September 18 to 20, 2026, the professional Children’s Theater from Riga will be a guest at the festival.
A vibrant, expressive, and very funny musical performance for children and adults, based on the works of Korney Chukovsky.
On stage, everything happens quickly, noisily, and completely unpredictably. Characters appear one after another, situations become increasingly absurd, adults laugh just as much as the children, and the songs stay in your head for days afterward.
This is not a quiet reading of familiar poems, nor is it a nostalgic performance “for the in-the-know.” It is lively, energetic theater featuring expressive acting, music, humor, and genuine stage presence.
The production is presented by the Riga Theater for Young Audiences.
