Italian funk trio Savana Funk bring their new album to Austria and Germany this autumn, with two concerts in Vienna and Berlin: Thursday 15 October 2026 at Replugged, Vienna, and Sunday 18 October 2026 at Urban Spree, Berlin.
Savana Funk embody the essence of the live band, fusing funk, rock, blues and African music. Groove is their language and the stage is their home.
Aldo Betto (guitars), Blake Franchetto (bass) and Youssef Ait Bouazza (drums) met in Bologna in 2015. With six albums, an EP and hundreds of concerts, they have become one of the most original acts on the Italian scene, playing international festivals like Sziget and sharing the stage with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Seun Kuti, Kokoroko, Nu Genea, collaborating with Gaudi and the New York label Putumayo.
In 2026 they open a new chapter with the album "Behind The Eyes", produced by Tommaso Colliva, a collaboration that has expanded their sound, awareness and musical horizons.
In their concerts groove becomes a universal language, a continuous flow of sound, body and movement that unites tradition and experimentation.
