The play "The Red Folder" in Berlin 2 May 2025

The play tells the story of an international family of three (mother, father and young daughter) who have to leave Russia and are unable to enter Ukraine due to the war - a "road movie" about their journey through Europe over several months.
"The Red Folder" is a folder with documents that every migrant or refugee collects on their journey. This brings to the stage a story based on true events and documents of this traveling family, but presented in a cheerful and uplifting way of a fairy tale told by the parents to their daughter. This story is not about war, but about people who set out, who help each other, who make life better and who actually rule this world. It is about you. Starting out like an ordinary travel story, this story turns into a myth and talks about humanity in general.

The performance of "The Red Folder" on is part of the city-wide theme week 80 Years of the End of the War - Liberation of Europe from National Socialism on the initiative and sponsored by the State of Berlin, realized by Kulturprojekte Berlin with numerous partners.
