Hi, Berlin! We’re Sasha and Karina, stand-up comedians , and we created the Pearl Show. It’s a comedy show that serves as an outlet for playing, laughing, and getting to know our guest through live interaction and bold questions.
The “pearl” of our show is that the guest is always faced with a choice in our games—whether it’s a moral dilemma about saving humanity or personal food preferences—but no matter what they choose, they’ll have to answer to us for every decision they make.... (bu)
We’ve done extensive research in the spirit of seasoned stalkers and gathered plenty of sensitive topics to discuss with our first guest— Dmitry Vachedin —editor-in-chief of the independent urban media outlet Genau, a journalist, writer, host of the “Chancellor and Berghain” podcast, and even the winner of some award! We’ll have plenty to talk about...
Perhaps we should introduce ourselves, too:
Sasha is a film director and actress—in other words, a professional hustler. Sasha speaks English and Russian, films sketches, and records podcasts.
Karina is quite skilled at getting her point across (she has a degree in linguistics), and she’s currently making a name for herself on the German comedy scene, though she hasn’t given up hope of breathing new life into the Russian-language comedy scene. We can’t wait to see you!
