"Two Prosecutors" (2025) - a historical drama by Sergei Loznitsa, based on the novel by Georgy Demidov, in cinemas in Germany.

The action unfolds in 1937, at the height of Stalin's repression: a young prosecutor Alexander Kornev, played by Alexander Kuznetsov, tries to get justice in the case of the unjustly convicted, but soon finds himself drawn into a deadly system of fear, corruption and denunciations.

The movie also played Alexander Filippenko and Anatoly White. The world premiere of the film took place on May 14, 2025 in the main competition program of the 78th Cannes Film Festival, where the film was awarded the Prix François Chalet.
