Olegg Vynnyk was born on July 6, 1973 in the village of Verbovka, Cherkassy region of the Ukrainian SSR at that time, and his childhood was spent in the village of Chervony Kut, Zhashkov district, where the family moved in 1976. He already at the age of 4 began to perform on stage, when together with his mother he attended Cherkassy UTOS.

The future singer was educated in Berezinskaya secondary school of Zhashkovsky district and there he began to play guitar in an amateur group. After graduating from school Oleg entered the college of culture in Kanev.

Together with the student choir of this school Vinnik went on tour to Germany, where after seeing the poster of the musical "The Phantom of the Opera", he thought about becoming an artist of this genre.

At the beginning of his career Oleg Vinnik performed in the choir of the regional philharmonic of Cherkassy. At the same time he actively studied German and in 1996 he went to Germany. Upon his return to Ukraine in 1997, the artist began to improve his stage skills.

The first notable work in the creative path of the performer was the role of Lucenzio in the musical "Kiss me, Kate" staged by Landgraf GmbH/Tournee-Theater. Then followed the musicals Der Glöckner von Notre-Dame, Titanic, Les Miserables. The artist became known in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, taking the stage name OLEGG.

Olegg Vynnyk's career as a solo singer began in 2003, when he recorded his first song. It was called "Fragrance of my dream", and 4 years later the performer recorded a music video for it. Another year later, the music video for the song "Bird" was released, and in June 2011, the premiere of the video "Stone Night" took place. In December of the same year later was released the debut album of the singer - "Angel".
