Presentation of the maxi-single "Zhyvyi."

Every time the management team at Boombox is tasked with writing a press release, we start by recalling some interesting facts: how many concerts we’ve played, how much money we’ve raised, and which songs we’ve released. That’s the foundation. It’s also good to remember whether the band has been to the country we’re heading to before, or if this is their first visit. Oh, how we’d love to write: “A Boombox concert”—and how 8,000 tickets sold out in Lviv in a single day. Yes, yes, we’re not talking about Lviv, though we are talking about Europe. To our loyal listeners—if you’re abroad—we hope you’ll be interested to learn that after the traditional break of a few months, Boombox will go on tour and bring along their brand-new, fresh-as-a-Kherson watermelon maxi-single “Zhyvyi,” complemented by songs from various albums—some of which you grew up listening to, and others your children are growing up with.

From November 19 to 30, 2026, the band “Boombox” will perform in several German cities. The band won’t be coming to Frankfurt this time, but local fans will be able to catch their shows in Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Bremen, and other cities. All residents and visitors to Germany can look forward to seeing the well-known Ukrainian band “Boombox” and its longtime frontman Andriy Khlyvnyuk. As part of the “Dronotour’26” program, audiences will be able to enjoy their favorite hits, as well as purchase merchandise and participate in an auction, the proceeds of which will go to support the Ukrainian military.

The band “Boombox” will perform in several German cities. Although the band won’t be coming to Frankfurt this time, local fans will be able to see them perform in Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Bremen, and other cities.

Each Boombox concert promises to be one of the key musical events in Europe. For German audiences, this is also an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of contemporary Ukrainian culture.

It’s important to note that tickets for the Boombox concert are already selling out fast—don’t miss your chance to hear the band’s famous hits live!

Street funk that unites Ukraine and Europe

The band’s musical style is hard to pin down to a single genre: it’s a fusion of funk, hip-hop, and alternative rock. This sound resonates easily with listeners in different countries and needs no translation, as the emotions and rhythm speak for themselves.

What sets the band’s approach apart is their attention to detail in their arrangements and their dynamic live performances. The musicians avoid clichés, striking a balance between street energy and the intellectual depth of their lyrics. This makes every performance distinctive and unforgettable.

In recent years, European audiences’ interest in the Ukrainian music scene has grown by more than 40%. Bands like “Boombox” have become cultural bridges between Ukraine and the EU, creating a steady demand for Ukrainian music beyond the country’s borders.

The Energy of Live Sound at “Boombox” Concerts

The band’s concerts always feature live sound with no compromises. The musicians are committed to honest performances, where every note is played right here and now. This creates a sense of total immersion and emotional closeness between the stage and the audience.

The setlist features both tried-and-true hits—including “Firtka,” “Flowers in My Hair,” “Alone,” and “Hold Me”—as well as songs that take on new life in a live setting. Boombox’s live music is always dynamic, improvisational, and filled with a sense of genuine dialogue with the audience.

What Makes This Tour Unique

Despite the emphasis on live sound, the tour isn’t without modern stage design elements. Lighting effects, thoughtful use of stage space, and visual elements amplify the emotional impact.

The interaction with the audience deserves special mention. Andriy Khlyvnyuk actively engages with the crowd, comments on what’s happening, and creates an intimate atmosphere even at large venues. This is a rare quality on the global stage, and it’s precisely what sets the band apart.
