"Krovostok" is one of the most extraordinary groups, which managed to combine several genres in their work: hip-hop, hardcore, gangsta rap and parody. This rattling mixture combined with monotonous recitative, excessive amount of mat and criminal theme of the songs creates a real drive and thrash on stage, causing a response from many listeners.
History of creation and composition of the band
Listening to deliberately cynical tracks, in which each verse is generously seasoned with profanity, you might think that the band members are from the backstreets. In fact, the musicians are representatives of creative intelligentsia, who decided to show their view on reality in such a way. Anton Chernyak (Shilo) is an artist who successfully graduated from the Moscow Art Academy. Dmitry Feindyukhain (aka Dmitry Fine, aka Dr. Feldman) is a graduate of the same art school. By specialty he is an installer.
The guys met as students, later continued to communicate, participating in the art group "Fenso". The idea of creating a new project appeared in 2003. The third member of the collective was Sergei Krylov (Polutrup), who works as a bartender in the art club "PushkinG".
Initially, the hip-hop group was planned to be called "Tekstilshchiki" in honor of one of the capital's districts, where Anton Chernyak spent part of his childhood. But after assessing the specifics of the future repertoire, the musicians decided to abandon this idea. This is how "Krovostok" appeared.
Shilo became the ideological inspirer, author of a number of texts and vocalist of the project. It is his dry timbre and monotonous narration that today is the business card of the group "Krovostok". The role of producer of the collective, and later the author of lyrics was taken by Feldman. Writing beats and music for the first albums was Sergey.
In 2007 a new member - Konstantin Rudchik (Phantomas 2000) joined the guys. He became the beatmaker of the band, replacing Sergey, who left "Krovostok". Since 2011 Fantomas 2000 has been the band's permanent backing vocalist.
Creativity of "Krovostok"
The first album of the band called "Rivers of Blood" was released in 2004. It included the best tracks of "Bloodstock", previously posted on the band's official website: "Biography", "Losing My Head", "Lobster Pizza". The debut was more than successful, both critics and numerous listeners talked about the performers in full voice. And no wonder. The music of "Bloodstock" was radically different from that created by other rap collectives. Verified rhythm, sharp precise rhymes and punches, shocking themes, detached style of performance, devoid of emotional coloring, made a very strong impression on the audience.
Performing at concerts in Moscow clubs, the musicians quickly gained an army of fans, who eagerly awaited the release of new tracks of their idols. Unfortunately, the second record of the musicians turned out to be weaker than the previous one. Some even considered it an outright failure. But the guys managed to surprise the public again and return interest to the work of "Krovostok", releasing the third album under the name "Dumbbell". The disk retained the concept of the first record of rappers, but the quality of the sound became much higher.
During the time that has passed since 2008, the discography of the collective was replenished with 4 more full-length albums and numerous singles, which took a worthy place in the creative piggy bank of musicians.
The group "Krovostok" and the courts
Such an extraordinary creativity of the group causes not only approval, but also complete rejection. One of the loudest scandals around "Krovostok" broke out in 2015, when the court found in the texts of guys propaganda of drug use and demanded the closure of the site of the collective. The musicians did not agree with this verdict and decided to appeal it. The appeal was not in vain: the previous decision was canceled.
What are the members of the group "Krovostok" now?
In 2022, the collective left the Russian Federation. Now the touring tours of the cult group are held abroad.
In the summer of 2024, by decision of Roskomnadzor, the album "Rivers of Blood", placed on muzservices, was blocked. The censor did not comment on its decision.

- The leader of the group "Krovostok" Shilo is a big fan of tattoos. On his body there are many drawings, which the rapper does not get tired of showing the public, appearing on stage with a bare torso.
- "Bloodstock" does not have a single official video clip. Rollers are created by fans themselves, using as a basis frames from movies or games.
- You can see the musicians not only on stage or in videos, but also in the psychological thriller "Tourniquet". Rappers played the roles of gangsters in it.
