Svetlana Loboda

Svetlana Loboda (birthday – 18.10.1982) is a famous Ukrainian singer. She is well known to many as a former soloist of VIA Gra. Now she performs herself. She also works as a presenter and has created her own brand of designer clothes.

Childhood years

According to the singer herself, she has had an interest in music since childhood. She performed at home in front of the guests, who always rewarded her with applause.

My grandmother, who was an opera singer in her youth, helped me develop my musical abilities. She took her to the "music room" and charged her with motivation in those moments when Loboda wanted to give up everything.

Music

Choosing a place of study, Svetlana settled on the variety and circus academy. The specialty "Pop and jazz vocals" was chosen. But studying quickly became boring for her, and Loboda began performing with the Cappuccino group under the direction of Doroshenko. After a while, they found out about the band, and the performers began to perform all over the country. But Svetlana quickly realized that this was not her format and began to look for a way to circumvent the obligations that she was bound by under a 2-year contract.

Life changed dramatically in 2004, when Loboda was noticed by Meladze. Having started an argument with a friend, she went to his casting, and eventually became the third soloist of the VIA Gra group (instead of Sedokova).

However, working in a team turned out to be difficult. The contract severely limited her actions, the producers asked her not to pull the blanket over herself, etc. As a result, in the fall of 2004, Loboda left the band.

A month later, her first song "Black and White Winter" was released. A year later, the song "I will forget you" appeared, for which Loboda was awarded an award.

At the end of 2005, the first album was released. At that time, Loboda had already decided on her stage image – an outrageous and erotic girl.

Since 2006, Sveta began to try herself in a new role as a presenter. First she appeared in the Showmania program, then in the Miss CIS project.

In 2009, Svetlana had the honor to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest. The song Be My Valentine was chosen for the performance. But she didn't even manage to get into the TOP 10 finalists.

Further events in the singer's biography developed at a rapid pace:

2010 – new stage name – LOBODA;

2011 – the release of a new album;

December 2012 – performance at the "Christmas Evenings" by A. Pugacheva (Svetlana was the only representative from Ukraine);

2013 – became an Honored Artist of Ukraine;

2014 – the release of the song "Looking at the sky", recorded with Emin;

2015 – all-Ukrainian tour.

In 2016, Svetlana was nominated for 16 awards. At the same time, she received the Golden Gramophone.

Personal life

Initially, Svetlana lived with Andrei Tsar. They have not officially registered their marriage. In 2011, their daughter Evangeline was born. After 3 years, the family broke up – however, there were no scandals.

In the spring of 2018, information leaked to the press that Loboda was in an interesting position. The name of the pope is unknown, as Svetlana carefully hides her personal life. Journalists believe that this is the lead singer of the band Rammstein Lindelmann.

On May 24, 2018, her second daughter was born, as the singer announced on Instagram the next day.

On February 14, 2017, Loboda performed in the Kremlin. A month later, on March 8, another 3–hour performance took place at the Sports Palace. It featured an album that the singer had been working on for 5 years.

At the end of 2017, Loboda hosted the "star" edition of the program "Heads and Tails". Her partner was Alexander Revva.

In the spring of 2018, fans heard a new song "Fly", which became the soundtrack to the film "Gogol. Viy." Then the music video for this song was released.
