Puppet show on the eve of the Purim holiday "My Beautiful Esther"

Masquerade, dances, round dances, games, competition for the best costumes and masks!

Purim is the most cheerful holiday in the Jewish calendar. It is dedicated to the events that took place in Persia almost 2,5 thousand years ago and are described in the Scroll of Esther. During Purim Jews celebrate the miraculous salvation of the people, which happened thanks to a simple Jewish girl Esther - she became a Persian queen, at a decisive moment showed ingenuity and courage and saved her people from the danger of extermination.

On Purim it is customary to organise a feast, where wine pours out in rivers, to wear carnival costumes and show a merry performance - Purimspiel.

Our Purimspiel is a colourful puppet show for adults and children, which tells the story of the beautiful Esther, wise Mordechai, evil Haman and fearsome King Ahashverosh in verse and accompanied by music.
