illo.trio is a young band, representatives of the modern jazz scene in the spirit of the Brits GoGo Penguin and the Swedes E.S.T..
The ensemble turns to a sound that is far from traditional and familiar.
In their work they mix elements of academic and pop music, jazz and minimalism, neoclassic and even post-rock. Familiar musical formulas take on a new and unexpected sound.
