A quarter-century of hits, unforgettable melodies, and musical successes: Craig David is coming to Düsseldorf on May 16, 2027, with his “Born To Do It 25th Anniversary Tour”! At the Mitsubishi Electric Halle, the British R&B star will celebrate the anniversary of his legendary debut album—with an exclusive concert that also marks the only stop in Germany on his tour.
With “Born To Do It,” Craig David made music history in 2000. His debut album blended R&B, pop, and UK garage into a distinctive sound and turned the then-19-year-old singer into an international superstar practically overnight. Songs like “Fill Me In,” “7 Days,” and “Walking Away” became global hits and shaped the sound of an entire generation. The album spent more than 70 weeks on the British charts and is still considered a milestone in modern British R&B.
On his anniversary tour, Craig David brings this special chapter of his career back to life. Together with his live band, he performs the entire “Born To Do It” album from start to finish and rounds out the set with additional highlights from his more than 25-year music career.
The idea for the tour was born after two sold-out concerts at London’s legendary Hammersmith Apollo, where Craig David performed his debut album live in its entirety with his band for the first time. The overwhelming response from the audience inspired him to bring this special concert experience to international stages as well.
Craig David is one of the most successful British R&B artists of his generation. With more than 15 million records sold worldwide, numerous hits, and several nominations for the BRIT Awards and the Grammys, he has secured a firm place in the international music scene. In addition to his career as a singer, he also wows audiences with his acclaimed DJ and live format, TS5, at major festivals and in renowned clubs around the globe.
His velvety voice, his unmistakable knack for catchy melodies, and his electrifying stage presence make each of his concerts a special experience.
On May 16, 2027, the Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf will become the gathering place for everyone who grew up with Craig David’s hits—and for anyone who wants to discover his unique sound live.
An evening full of nostalgia, great R&B classics, and musical memories. Just one concert in Germany—don’t miss this opportunity!
