Nadia Dorofeeva is a Ukrainian singer, designer and video blogger. She became popular thanks to her participation in the band Vremya i Steklo. After the duo broke up, the artist started a solo career. Her current project is called Dorofeeva.
Childhood and youth of Nadia
The future popular singer was born in April 1990 in Simferopol. The girl's father was a military man, her mother was a dentist.
Already from early childhood Nadia loved to sing and dance and at every opportunity tried to show others their skills. Her parents, seeing the girl's craving for creativity, decided to give her to a music school and dance studio. And they were not mistaken: Nadia had an outstanding talent and made great progress. At the age of 12, she became the Crimean champion in ballroom dancing, the owner of the "Grand Prix" of the competition of vocalists and took second place at the International Competition of Young Musicians. A year later she brilliantly performed at children's festivals in Hungary and Bulgaria.
For a short period of time the list of achievements of the young talent was enriched by the victory in the competitions "Golden Rain" and "Black Sea Games", followed by a tour to Great Britain, participation in TV projects "Karaoke on Maidan" and "Chance".
It is clear that the question of choosing a profession before Nadia never stood. Dorofeeva firmly decided to connect her future life with music.

The beginning of the professional creative career of the singer was her participation in the trio "M.C.S.", performing youth pop hits. The producer of the group drew attention to a talented girl participating in the contest "Golden Voice of Russia" and offered her to become a new soloist. The group did not last long, in 2007 the project was closed. Dorofeeva decided to try herself in a solo career and soon released her first record.
But from the idea of collective creativity, the girl also did not give up. When the Ukrainian producer Potap (Alexey Potapenko), having caught fire with the idea of a new project, decided to hold a casting, she did not hesitate to apply and went to Kiev for an audition. The decision was a turning point in the creative biography of Nadia Dorofeeva. Of all the applicants, the musician chose her. The second participant of the project was Alexey Zavgorodnyi, performing under the pseudonym "Positive". So appeared the duet "Time and Glass", which in a short period of time gained the status of the most popular group in the country.
For 10 years of existence, the young performers recorded dozens of tracks and clips to them, released 3 full albums, gave hundreds of concerts, received many awards and prizes.
