Event description

Experience Beethoven in all his magnificence – from the intimate beauty of Romance No. 2 to the dramatic intensity of two legendary violin sonatas. On May 3, 2026, two outstanding artists will meet at the Mozart Hall of the Liederhalle Stuttgart for an evening that speaks to both heart and mind.

Mark Taratushkin (piano), a Berlin-based pianist and winner of the International Piano Competition with a distinguished, award-winning career, joins Yury Revich (violin), the Austrian ECHO Klassik Award winner (“Newcomer of the Year”), who performs on a precious Guarneri del Gesù. Together, they present a program that will captivate devoted Beethoven enthusiasts and newcomers alike.

The program features Beethoven’s Romance No. 2 (for violin and piano), as well as two milestones of the chamber music repertoire: the celebrated “Spring Sonata” and the monumental “Kreutzer Sonata.” An evening of lyrical tranquility, radiant virtuosity, and dramatic tension awaits — qualities that have made these masterpieces audience favorites for generations.
