Grandson of the famous grandmother

Stanislav Piekha was born into a family, all members of which were somehow connected with music. His mother Ilona Bronevitskaya is a pop singer, TV and radio presenter, his father Petras Gerulis is a jazz performer who managed to reach great heights in a relatively short career. But the most famous in the family is the grandmother - a legend of the national variety, People's Artist of the USSR Edita Piekha, whose surname the boy will carry in the future. It was she who had the greatest influence on the fate and formation of Stas as a singer. Even the name of the future star was given at the request of the grandmother. Edita, who lost her father at an early age, gave herself the word to name her son in his honor. But fate gave her a girl, so the name went to her grandson.

From the first years of life, Stas was well acquainted with the world of show business. He accompanied the singer during tour trips, used to be in public and even went on stage with a bouquet, while Pieha performed a song about the most beloved man. At age 7, the boy was assigned to the school named after Glinka. Glinka, where he learned the basics of playing the piano and choral singing. At the same time, at the insistence of his grandmother, the boy changed his surname Gerulis to Pieha.

Stas tried to get a higher education at the Gnessin College. Gnessin, choosing for this pop-jazz direction. He failed to finish it, not having decided for himself whether he wanted to become a singer, Pieha left his studies, began working as a hairdresser, singing in restaurants, and his free time devoted to sports and the study of psychology.

The beginning of his musical career

The year 2004 was a turning point in the creative biography of the novice performer: he passed the casting and became a participant of the 4th season of "Star Factory".

While working in the project, he became closely acquainted with Viktor Drobysh, who wrote his first song for the young talent. The composition, which instantly became a hit, was called "One Star". Here, at the "Factory", Stas made a lot of useful acquaintances, realized his long-standing dream to sing a duet with Valeria, and also performed one of the ballads together with the famous rock singer Ken Hesley. The winner of the project Piekha did not become, but, having reached the finals, found a producer for his album and got the right to shoot a music video. And most importantly, announced himself to the whole country not only as the grandson of the famous grandmother.

A year later, the singer's debut album called "One Star" was released. Part of the songs in it was written by the artist himself, the rest - Victor Drobysh. In the work on the record participated and Edita Piekha. Together with her, Stas performed the song "City of Childhood".

At the peak of popularity

The second solo album "Otherwise" was presented to the general public in 2008. The last few years became for him a period of bold experiments with style, searching for his place in music. The album includes 12 completely different songs, including:

• "Lullaby" and others.

An absolute hit was the composition "She is not yours", which the artist performed together with Grigory Leps.

In 2014, the third album of Stas Pieha was released. It was called "10". With his recording, the singer summarized the results of the first years of creative activity. The album included the best compositions of the artist, rightfully considered his golden hits.

But the creative activity of the singer is not limited only to performances on stage. In between, he Stas Piekha leads popular programs, voices cartoons, participates in various TV shows - "Two Stars", "The Voice of the Country", "Stars in the Opera", writes poetry, is engaged in educational work on the subject of combating AIDS.

Personal life

Everything that concerns the personal life of the singer, for a long time was a great mystery and the subject of various speculations. Probably for this reason, the appearance of Stas at the festival "Slavonic Bazaar - 2012" together with Natalia Gorchakova, who turned out to be the official wife of the artist, was a complete surprise for fans and the press. In 2014, the family had a son Peter, and 2 years later the spouses separated. According to Stas himself, he was not ready for family life, which stops his spiritual and creative growth.
