At school Oleg comprehended knowledge without much willingness, but with pleasure played the guitar in a musical ensemble, feeling himself a real artist. After receiving the certificate the young man continued to acquire knowledge in the engineering and naval school, and after graduating from it, for 3 years went on a fishing trawler. Then he returned to his native educational institution as a teacher, enrolled in graduate school and even started working on his PhD thesis. Soon, realizing that he would not be able to realize himself as a scientist, he gave up science. Craving for music did not give rest, and Gazmanov entered a music school. From his walls he left in 1981, in perfect command of the guitar.

The beginning of the creative path

While in school, Oleg began to try himself in different musical groups, played in a local restaurant. This brought him a good income, which was not superfluous: at that time he had already managed to have a family.

Two years after graduating from college, deciding that in Moscow he would have more opportunities for development, the musician moved to the capital. The first popularity did not wait long. The composition "Lucy", which was performed by 5-year-old Rodion Gazmanov, was enthusiastically received by listeners. In 1988, the video clip of the same name was included in the program "Morning Post", and soon it was sung by the whole country.

At the peak of popularity

The real fame to Gazmanov came after the creation of the group "Eskadron", which marked a new stage in the creative biography of the artist. Almost every song released during this period, became an absolute hit. In 1991 Oleg Gazmanov's first album "Eskadron" was released, which received platinum status within the first month. The title song from it gained incredible popularity, being at the top of the charts for 1.5 years. Other songs from the album, which became Gazmanov's trademark, were no less successful:

The first disk was followed by the second, numerous concerts and tours in the country, recognition abroad.

During his creative activity, Oleg Gazmanov recorded about two dozen albums and more than a hundred songs performed by himself and other "stars". His hit "Officers" still sounds at concerts on February 23 and May 9. His composition "Moscow", written for the 850th anniversary of the capital, is the unofficial anthem of the city. Most of Oleg Gazmanov's songs have been recognized with prestigious awards. Among the awards and regalia - seven "Ovations", four "Golden Gramophone", international The World Music Awards, the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation.

Personal life of the singer

Oleg Gazmanov was married twice. With his first chosen one, he lived in marriage for 20 years. Irina fully devoted herself to her family and the upbringing of her son Rodion. Currently, the young man works as a financial director in a large Russian company. He has his own band, most of his free time he devotes to music.

With his second wife Marina Muravyova Oleg Gazmanov met during a tour in Voronezh. He was 47, she was 18. The girl was married, she and her husband had a son. For several years the couple maintained friendly relations, but feelings won. In 2003, the lovers were married. Soon the couple had a daughter Marianna. Gazmanov also adopted Marina's child from his first marriage. All the artist's children maintain good relations with each other. Rodion is a frequent guest in his father's house.
