Noiz MC (Ivan Alexeev) is a famous rap-rock singer, musician, songwriter, composer, and actor. He became famous not only for his topical lyrics, but also for his active civil position, which he defends despite the discontent of the authorities and numerous scandals around him.

Childhood and adolescence of Noize

The future celebrity was born in March 1985 in a small town near Smolensk. To write poetry, and then music, Vanya began already in childhood, having inherited the ability and love for creativity from his father. When the boy was 10 years old, he went to a music school to learn to play the guitar.

Not long before that, Vanya's parents divorced. Mom and son moved to Belgorod.

In the new place Alexeyev continued to study guitar playing. There he twice took part in the regional contest of classical guitarists, and both times became its laureate.

At the age of 13, being under the impression of Nirvana, Ivan organized his first rock-collective. But he became more and more fascinated by rap. Alekseev tried to write the first compositions, and a little later, together with his friend Arkady became a member of Belgorod hip-hop collective V.I.P. For creativity guys took pseudonyms: Ivan began to perform under the nickname Noize MC, classmate - Adik 228. When the project broke up, the guys organized a rap duo Face2Face. As part of it, they performed at various venues in the region and even traveled to neighboring countries.

After graduating from school with a gold medal, Ivan enrolled in the computer science department of the Russian State University of Humanities and moved to Moscow. The move became a turning point in the creative biography of Noize MC.

The beginning of his musical career

Here, together with his dorm neighbors, he formed a new alternative band called Protivo Gunz. The collective actively toured the Moscow region, performing in clubs, bars, clubs and just on the street, gathering numerous fans from among teenagers and young people. At the same time, Noize began to participate in competitions on hip-hop portals and in freestyle battles at various capital festivals.

Such an active desire to make himself known was crowned with success. In the summer of 2006, the musician signed a solo contract with the label Respect Production, and later - with Universal Music Group. Fans of rap appreciated it as an unprecedented event.

The cooperation did not last long. Already in 2008, Noize announced his departure from Universal Music. The beginning of the artist's solo career was marked by the release of the debut album, called The Greatest Hits vol. 1. 1. It included 20 tracks. The disk became one of the best-selling releases of the year. Noize MC tracks "Behind a Closed Door", "Exhale", "Out of the Window" still blast the halls during the singer's concerts. Most of the performances on stage are accompanied by the Protivo Gunz band.

New albums, musical and other projects

The first CD was followed by others. The release of each of Noize MC's 9 studio albums became a real event for all fans of the performer. They were complemented by numerous singles, clips, joint works of the rapper with other musicians and groups. The most significant of them were marked by awards in various nominations.

But the creativity of Noize MC is not limited to music alone. In 2007, Ivan announced himself as a movie actor, playing a major role in the movie "The Drawing", a remake of the 1976 film. He also wrote some of the songs for the movie.

In other movie works, Ivan appeared only in the role of himself or the hero-musician.

Currently, the artist continues to engage in creative activity, but already outside the country in which he was born. As a person with an active civil position, Noyz often criticized both the regime and those who supported it. In November 2022, the musician was included by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the register of foreign agents.

Now Noize MC lives in Lithuania, performing concerts throughout Europe.
