Evgenij Osin (Evgenij Osin) is a popular Russian singer and songwriter. Famous for his unusual genre of performance, which combined pop rhythms, rock 'n' roll and backyard romantic music. He is known to listeners for such songs as "A Girl Crying in the Machine", "Ivolga", "Kachka" and "Poputchitsa".
Childhood years
Zhenya was born on October 4, the year of birth - 1964. Dad, who was a bus driver, left the family when the boy was 9 years old. Mom was left alone with two children: Zhenya and his younger sister Albina.
At the age of 12, the boy learned to play the drums, and 2 years later he began to perform with the school ensemble. For some time the guy tried to study at a music school, but monotonous classes quickly bored him. He did not graduate from the Institute of Culture, receiving instead of a diploma certificate, allowing him to be in charge of an ensemble in a school or house of culture.
The first steps to recognition
The guy had no ambitious plans, the limit of his dreams was a large dovecote with many birds. But one thing was clear: music is what he wants to devote his life to. To realize his plans, Osin gathered musicians and created the group "Nightcap". At first the guys performed under this name, and then changed it to "Cupcake". It was in this collective that Zhenya first tried himself as a frontman.
After the collapse of "Cupcake" young man changed several ensembles, was the head of the collective "Ded Moroz", but nowhere stayed long.
A lucky chance came quite by chance, and Evgeny Osin went to the then famous group "Bravo", taking the place of the departed soloist Zhanna Aguzarova. For some time Zhenya toured with the group and even managed to star in a music video. But very quickly he was replaced by Valery Syutkin, and Evgeny had to leave the band.
In the early 90's Zhenya created his own group "Avalon", where he was a soloist, guitarist and author of many compositions. As part of it, he released the album "Bright Path of Fire". Unfortunately, the public simply did not notice this event.
Solo career
In 1991, Evgeny Osin (Evgenij Osin) decided to perform solo. At that time, he had already found his own style and was full of creative plans.
In 1992, the singer presented his debut record "70th Latitude". It immediately gained immense popularity, almost each of the compositions included in it became an absolute hit later. The most famous track from it is considered to be "Crying girl in the machine".
In 1994, Eugene's second album "In Russia" was released, and 2 years later - another one, called "Work on Errors". In it Osin acted not only as a performer, but also as a composer. The main hit of the album was the song "Kachka".
Then there is a lull in the creative biography of the musician. For long 3 years he collects material and only in 1999 he releases a new album "Birds". But it was very different from the previous ones: the record contained a lot of dance songs, which were recorded using computer equipment, not live musical instruments.
The audience liked the new compositions very much. During one of Evgeny's performances in Rostov-on-Don, when he performed the composition "Yalta", President Boris Yeltsin came on stage and started dancing, shocking not only the musician, presenter, security guards, but also the whole country.
Since the early 2000s, the singer's popularity began to decline rapidly. He did not keep up with modern trends, and many compositions from his discography automatically went into the category of "retro". Trying to correct the situation, Evgeny Osin up to 2010 released 7 more albums. Many of them turned out to be just collections of past hits, and therefore it was not possible to achieve success.
Personal life
Eugene's personal life did not work out. With his wife Natalia he met by chance, just meeting her on the street. At that time, the girl was married, but, succumbing to the charms of the musician, separated from her husband and married Eugene.
In 2002, the couple had a daughter Agnia, but the relationship between the spouses deteriorated greatly. Eugene turned out to be a terrible jealous, he forced his wife to quit her job and take care of the household. Being a vegetarian, he demanded that the wife cooked him and his daughter appropriate dishes. The musician often cheated on his wife, but Natalia, knowing about it, just turned a blind eye to everything.
The last straw that overflowed the cup of patience, was Osin's addiction to alcohol. He often drank, debauched and once was the instigator of a fight during a family vacation in Egypt. After this event, his wife filed for divorce.
To be able to see his daughter, Evgeny Osin began working at school as a music teacher. In 2011, he again began to tour, performing compositions of past years.
In addition to Agnia, Eugene has another daughter - Nastya. She was born after his short-lived affair with Elena Godunova. The musician himself learned about the existence of the daughter only in 2018 and immediately recognized her as his child. But already after his death it turned out that he is not her biological father.
The last years of life
After his divorce from his wife Natalia, Eugene then went into into a drunkenness, then again tried to work, returning to touring. In 2016, his last album "Separation" was released. The musician tried in every way to overcome the addiction, but every time he broke down.
On November 17, 2018, the press reported the death of the musician. He was found by his sister Albina, who could not contact her brother for a whole day. Doctors determined that death occurred due to cardiac arrest. The musician left on the 54th year of his life.
